The plans for the new port include a 200m quay for cruise liners and a five-star hotel on the marina, new bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets to revamp the eastern area of the city.
La Bajadilla marina is due a 400 million euro makeover thanks to a consortium led by Qatari Sheikh Abdullah ben Nasser Al-Thani, current owner of Malaga Football Club.
